My Beauty Stash Of The Week

StashCover2

As we’re at the end of the week, I thought I’d do up a beauty post on the products I’m loving to give all the readers a chance to see what I have stashed away in my makeup bag. I love looking at what products others are using to make sure I’m not missing out on anything, so I’ll gladly show my stuff off to you gorgeous lot. 😉 I plan to make this a weekly post, so every week, I’ll sum up all the products I’ve used in one place to save you searching the site for them.

  • I’m hugely into palettes at the moment, and in particular, adore my Glinda Wizard of Oz palette by Urban Decay. I haven’t stopped using it since I bought it, it’s just fabulous. Speaking of amazing  Urban Decay palettes, I’ll be reviewing the latest ‘basics‘ palette that has just been released next week. If you’re not feeling all the shimmer that’s in the ‘Naked’ shades, you are going to love this!
  • I also adore the Dita Von Teese Makeup Collection by ArtDeco. The Compact Powder (pictured above) is just gorgeous and I’d happily rave all day about the entire range. See my first review on the Loose Powder, Eyebrow Gel and Blusher here (which the gorgeous Dita herself kindly gave a mention to on her Twitter page!) and my second review on the Compact Powder, Ultra Volume Mascara and Shimmer Blusher here.
  • I’ve always loved Bobbi Brown (you can see one of my palettes in the above picture), and they’ve brought out some pretty impressive palettes and blushers over the past while. I’ll be reviewing a product or two from those guys next week, so keep an eye out for this.

  • Once I see a multipurpose beauty product, I feel compelled to buy it! I love them. This gem of a multipurpose product by Benefit Fine-One-One (pictured above) is amazing and can be used on both lips and cheeks. It ticks all the boxes and hasn’t left my beauty bag since I got my hands in it a few weeks ago. Check out my rave review of it here.
  • For those that might not know me that well, I am a lipstick fanatic and I own almost every single shade of lipstick Mac have on offer. To me Mac rule the lipstick world with their wide variety of shade choice, texture and simple, yet effective packaging. My current shade obsession (pictured above) is Creme Cup in the Cremesheen line. It’s a pretty pink colour that looks very natural against my pale skin tone and nicely moisturises lips to boot. I also find that it goes with virtually any eye shadow or blush really nicely, so it’s a very solid one to wear every day.
  • The blusher pictured above, in shade number 22 ‘Paramour’ is a newbie that I’ve been wearing all week, again from the Dita Von Teese Makeup Collection. It has a gorgeous shimmer throughout and is perfect for a natural rosy glow for the Spring Season.

  • Finally, my foundation of the moment is thanks to Girl’s Aloud’s Nicola Roberts and her fabulous Dainty Doll range, catered especially for those of us with the palest of complexions. I’m crazy about the Liquid Foundation, and not-so-crazy about the Loose Powder Foundation but all in all, I’m obsessed with the line and have one or two new pieces to review for you in the coming days too.
