I Need This In My Beauty Stash: Benefit’s Fakeup Concealer!

Firstly, sorry for the delay in posting this week, I’ve been away and I am busy as ever trying to get stuff for the new site design organised (squeeee!), but it’s back to business as usual. I need this in my beauty stash pronto! I’m all about trying out new concealers. Hell, I’ll try anything that will keep my dark, dark eye bags away (not such an easy job when you have transparent skin, I might add!). Benefit, my current favourite for bringing out deadly products (see my review of their World Famous Neutrals eye shadow palette here and their multi purpose Fine One One product here), have dutifully promised to help me with my problem with their latest invention the Fakeup concealer.  Rejoice! I’ve been hearing whispers on the grapevine about this one for a while, and the word around the beauty blogging campfire is that this baby is brilliant.

It comes in three shades ranging from light to dark and promises to instantly reduce dark, under eye circles (boy, do I ever need this), smooth the skin, keep the skin around the eyes hydrated for up to six hours and not settle in those pesky under eye creases. Retailing at around the €26 mark, this little product promises a lot of  big things considering the price tag, but I’m eager to get my hands on this for a try out regardless. If my sources are correct, it lands at all good Benefit counters this week. Expect a review in the very near future.

Will you be trying this?  Have you tried it all ready? I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments section!

  1. I currently use Benefit’s erase paste (along with a couple other things) for my circles, but I’d be interested in trying this too! And my skin is pretty pale too, so I feel your pain, sister!

  2. From what I gather, this is a step up from the Erase Paste (which I found sadly didn’t work on its own) so I can’t wait to try it out!

  3. I use Bo-oing at the moment but I’ll be checking this out for sure!!!

  4. I’ll let you know as soon as I’ve the full review up. 🙂
